I
remember growing up, our meals were certainly not healthy but we played hard
enough during recess that we burned it off. Then after school we went home and
did our homework and outside we went. On the weekends it was the same, get up
and watch Saturday morning cartoons and we then, suddenly disappeared outside
with our friends.It is
no wonder that our kids are getting fat at an alarming rate.
“It is estimated that almost 34% of adults
are obese and as well as approximately 17% (or 12.5 million) of children and
adolescents aged 2—19 years are as well.”
